Vidhya Niketan Public School announced winner at Quiz Competition organised by Cambridge University Press

Coimbatore, Feb 15, 2016:Vidhya Niketan Public School walked away with the champions’ trophy of Exploring General Knowledge Quiz Competition, organised by The Cambridge University Press in Coimbatoreyesterday. The quiz competition, which was centred on the theme Trivia, Knowledge &Beyond, was hosted by none other than the popular and one of the most admired quiz masters, Dr.Navin Jayakumar.


More than 400 Students across 105 teams fromin and around Coimbatore district participated in the quiz competition.The winning teamVidhya Niketan Public Schoolwas represented by S. Anand, R. Harshavardhan and P. Shriman Visahan, while S.B.O.A MHSS(participants: Ashwath B, Kaarthik R and Logeshwar V.R) and Good Shepherd International School(participants: Rahul Adusumilli, Sriniketh Krishnan and V.P. Laksith) achieved the runner up trophy. The quiz was live webcasted for a virtual audience, who also had a chance to win interesting prizes for correctly answering questions from the quizmaster. The trophies and certificates for participation were given away by the organizers at the event.
